New Elk Grove Affordable Apartment Complex Opens Lottery. You can apply now!
Attention Women’s Empowerment students and Graduates, there is a new low-income housing development that is currently underway and set to be completed in April of this year. Right now, the city of Elk Grove has opened up a “lottery” system that will close on March 3, 2021. This lottery is not a guarantee that you will get an apartment; however, it puts you in for a chance to potential be one of the persons and families that receive a low-income unit.
The drawing for units will be on March 5. The eligibility for the lottery is income-based and capped at those earning up to 60% of the median area income. So that means that you can not make more than $36,000 a month.
