It’s the first week of session, and we’re ecstatic to get started with this new cohort of ladies. We have 13 students ready to make big changes in the lives of themselves and their children.

Congratulations to the ladies of Get a Job Kit!

Today, our Get a Job Kit students finished the program and received their certificates! Now that they’ve filled the gaps in their resumes, they’re prime candidates for any interview they walk into.

Congratulations to Maria and Falisha!

We had two bell ringers this week! Maria and Falisha are graduates of session 87, and now they are Get a Job Kit graduates! They were both able to secure jobs before Get a Job Kit ended. Way to go, ladies!

Falisha got a job as a pharmacy technician at CVS! She worked hard during the program to complete her license. She applied the skills and knowledge she learned during session as she was applying and interviewing.

Maria got a part-time job to fit her school schedule. She found the perfect position to help supplement her income as she goes to school for cosmetology. We can’t wait to see what she does after graduating from cosmetology school.
