Resume Writing

Session 95 is unlocking doors to dream careers, one resume at a time—some amazing volunteers stopped by to assist in our resume writing workshop last week.
Volunteers are helping empower the students in their job readiness journey, one workshop at a time. Would you be interested in volunteering or attending the next session? Check out the information below.

Session 96 Orientations!

Session 96 orientations are coming up! If you know someone who would benefit from our program, we’d love to meet them. We know that the women we serve have tremendous potential. The program fosters growth and development, preparing participants to succeed and overcome any challenges ahead. By attending one of the four upcoming orientations, folks can learn more about the program, meet some of the team, and get a feel for what it’s like to be a part of the incredible WE community. Please spread the word and help reach anyone who might benefit from our programs and services.

Community Partners helped empower change this May

The National Council of Jewish Women expanded their support of WE to our Trellis Gardens Housing Program, helping start a resource closet for the graduates who live there! We are grateful for their amazing support!

Stop by WE’s table to say hello at Hope Cooperatives’ upcoming resource fair.
Date: May 16th, 2024
Time: 10 am- 1 pm
Where; 3737 Marconi Ave, Sacramento, CA 95821
We hope to see you there!

First Steps Community hosted their annual resource fair and invited WE to attend! So many nonprofits and community resource organizations came together to provide resources for the community.
WE social worker, Ronnika, attended and had a great time talking to folks about WE!

We are still seeking volunteer support for Session 95! Sign up today!
