HOLIDAY CRAFT PARTY (IN A BOX)
Each year we host a Holiday Craft Party for our graduates and their children. Not only does this fun event allow us to reconnect our graduates to services, but women and children also have the opportunity to partake in craft projects that can be given as gifts during the holiday season.
Due to COVID-19, we are unable to hold this event in person, so we are doing the next best thing: Holiday Craft Party In A Box. This festive box of fun will feature craft kits, supplies, and more, so that the women and children we serve are still able craft gifts and celebrate despite not being able to attend in person. We will be distributing these special boxes on December 12!
We are in need of volunteers/groups to create craft kits.
What does that entail?
- Pick a project/craft.
- Email Zoe@womens-empowerment.org with your craft idea.
- Procure supplies for ~100-200 people to partake in your craft project. (Please note that this number is flexible)
- Create a step by step instruction guide for your craft project.
- Assemble craft kits, each kit containing an instruction guide and supplies needed for one person to partake in your craft project. (If you need additional support to assemble kits we can absolutely help with that)
We will be including in each box a pack of general supplies needed in craft projects like scissors, glue, and tape, so you don’t need to include those in each kit.
