Big Day of Giving (BDOG) is an annual online giving movement that unites the region’s nonprofit sector to help raise funds for the organizations that strengthen the capital area. For BDOG this year, we have a goal of raising $100,000 to help ensure WE can continue to empower.

For the past 20 years, the Women’s Empowerment community has supported over 1,700 women and their 3,700 children in graduating from our programs. Together, we have accomplished a lot and we have come a long way, but our work is not done. Now, women face new challenges due to the pandemic and associated economic and housing crises. We need you to continue to walk alongside these resilient women.

All are welcome to join us on May 6, Big Day of Giving, anytime between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. to write encouraging notes to be given to future students and grads of our programs! In partnership with the National Council of Jewish Women Sacramento, socially distanced note-writing stations, supplies, and sample notes will be set up! See you there!
