WE Make An Impact
Since our inception, over 1,800 women and their more than 3,800 children have graduated from Women’s Empowerment. Because of generous support from our partners, volunteers, and donors, Women’s Empowerment can continue supporting women and children experiencing homelessness as they discover their empowered voice, become the author of their own future, and regain their hope.

Below is a look at some of the impact and accomplishments YOU made possible in 2023.

471 homeless and formerly homeless women received life-changing services and support at Women’s Empowerment. WE’s Social Worker, employment specialist, and Housing Specialist supported women with a combined total of 2,884 appointments.

62 homeless women graduated from our innovative job-readiness program, regaining confidence, employment skills, and hope!

165 jobs were secured by WE Graduates!

189 women regained or maintained a safe and stable home.

28 empowerment classes and support groups provided, including Parenting, Domestic Violence, Fitness, and Wellness & Recovery

125 children were nurtured in our onsite Child Development Center or supported through an alternative service, helping ensure they get what they need to learn, play, and grow!

19 paid job training programs and employment training partnerships provided to cohorts of graduates, including RENEW, a seven-week paid property management job training program provided in collaboration with the Institute for Real Estate Management.

454 volunteers gifted their time, skills, and energy to support women and children experiencing homelessness, giving a combined 5,535 hours.

5 days a week, WE graduates had access to the free on-site computer lab and clothing closet, 838 healthy lunches were provided to students and graduates.

12 families (12 women 23 kids) were housed through Trellis Gardens, WE’s Transitional Workforce Housing Program, where they can work to advance their careers, build savings, and eliminate barriers to market-rate housing.
